Introductions

Week 3 of Lia's life was full of adventure and new introductions! The most exciting for our family was introducing her to her brand new cousin, Ella Jean, born May 27th at 12:10am. She came 10 hours before my mom boarded a plane for Israel...talk about perfect timing. We cannot wait for these precious girls to grow up together and create countless family memories.

Introductions also included: Cousin Ellen, Aunt Julie, and two special Teresa's in our life!

What we've learned as new parents in Lia's first 20 days:
1. That we are truly blessed in our marriage and need one another daily to celebrate the miracle of it all and to support the challenges of it all.

2. That we are surrounded by a community that deeply loves and cares for us and our new daughter. Thanks for reminding us how grateful we are for your friendships!

3. That baby girls can compete with any boy in the gas and spit up department.

4. That TV is overrated as Lia's facial expressions trump any technological form of entertainment.

5. That we still have so much more to learn!

We cannot thank you all enough for the love and support you've extended to our family. We are thrilled to continue walking alongside all of you in this journey.
